Boukman Daiquiri

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. white rum
  • 0.5 oz. Cognac
  • 0.75 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 0.75 oz. cinnamon syrup

Instructions

Shake and strain

Verdict

Tried with both types of cinnamon syrup. The cinnamon syrup is mostly lost, but the essence one was more present. It's an ok drink, but it's not as good as a normal daiquiri.

The essence one comes through clear as a bell, both flavor and scent. The cinnamon stick one is more lost.

5/10

Notes

Named in homage to Boukman Dutty, the Haitian priest who helped launch the island nation’s revolution in 1791, this modern daiquiri offers a subtle taste of the Caribbean mixed with a hint of Cognac and cinnamon spice.
