The smell is very nice, strong Mezcal notes, with a hint of tar. At the start of the sip it's smooth and nice, with both flavors present in equal measure. However, at the end of the sip, the Montenegro comes in and absolutely obliterates the Mezcal. It's a bit too bitter for me, but I can totally see why some people would love this. I made it on the rocks.
