  • 1.5 Oz saffron gin
  • 1.5 Oz Pedro Ximenez Sherry
  • 1 barspoon maraschino
  • 2 dashes angostura orange bitters

Verdict

Replacing the vermouth, which I normally don't like, with Pedro Ximenez sherry is a stoke of genius in this cocktail. Even with flavors as strong as the sherry and the maraschino, the saffron gin is still present. All ingredients are accounted for and present in the flavor. A very well balanced cocktail. It's a nice sipper with complex flavors.
