Sazerac

Ingredients

  • 45 ml / 1.5 Oz Rye
  • 15 ml / 0.5 Oz Cognac
  • 7.5 ml / 0.25 Oz Simple syrup
  • 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • Absinth rinse

Instructions

  • Mix everything in stirring glass with ice until cold
  • Rinse (ideally chilled) lowball glass in absinthe
  • Strain into glass
  • No ice

Verdict

Nice and boozy and strong flavors.
